Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), Hyderabad has invited applications for its full-time PhD Programme in Computer Science and Information Technology [with focus on Banking Technology] for the session starting in January 2012.

Essential Qualifications
Masters Degree in any Engineering / Technology; OR MPhil in Mathematics or Statistics or Electronics; OR BE / BTech OR Master’s Degree in Computer Applications / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics / Information Systems / Internet Technology / Geo-Informatics / Bio-Informatics with a minimum of 60% marks in any of the above stated qualifications (a relaxation of 5% marks is provided to SC / ST candidates). All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized universities / institutions in India or abroad. If grades are awarded instead of marks, candidates should clearly indicate their numerical equivalent.

Research Fellowship
The selected Research Scholars would be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 14,000/- per month during the first and second year and Rs.15,000/- per month during the subsequent years. The fellowship is normally tenable for three (3) years.

Selection Process
The Selection Process for admission to the PhD programme would consist of:

(i) A Written Examination on December 19, 2011

Delhi University MBA admission

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi has invited applications for admission to Two Year MBA and PhD Programmes of Year 2012.

Eligibility:
MBA:
3 Year Bachelor's Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling. The minimum percentage of marks (in aggregate) in a bachelor degree in different disciplines: Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%; Sciences - 55%; Mathematics or Statistics - 60%; Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60%/CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00 or Post-Graduates Degree or 2nd Degree Examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's / PG Degree examination may also apply.

Doctoral Programme:
Candidates seeking admission to FMS Doctoral programme are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011 conducted by IIMs during October 22,2011 to November 18, 2011.

Work experience minimum of two years is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates exempted from the admission test are required to apply to FMS on the prescribed form along with a demand draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi by 31st January 2012.

Master of Business Economics from Delhi University

University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi has invited applications for admission to Master of Business Economics (MBE) and Master of Finance and Control (MFC) for the Academic Year 2012-13.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
The minimum eligibility requirements for MBE and MFC Programmes are:
Graduate (under 10+2+3) in any discipline with at least 50% marks, from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics / Business Mathematics at Class XII level. Students appearing in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree examination in 2012 can also apply.

Note: The selected candidates must submit their final year results of Graduation by September 15, 2012 or a date as will be specified the University of Delhi in this regard, failing which their admission will be automatically canceled.

The candidate should be minimum of 20 years on 1st October in the year in which admission is sought.
